Five or so years ago I bought an old BMW 2002. I have spent the past few years bringing this old car back to life. It is way past any kind of a 'budget' but I won't give until she is a reliable, fun car to drive. It turns out I'm having a lot of fun in the process!

About Me
I bought my first BMW in 1997 and have since owned too many. The best BMW I have ever had was my Alpine White M Roadster. Why I ever let that one go I'll never know. My current crop of cars includes an Audi A3 (incredible car), my '04 MINI Cooper in Chili Red, a 2006 Z4 in Alpine White and my old Verona Red BMW 2002. I call her Happy Face because of the bad imitation of a Verona paint job that the PO did. I think it was a Maako special. It will be redone at some point. First, I want to see this car running well.

I'm a geoscientist and car lover. I am an active member of the Houston chapter of the BMW-CCA.
