January 1st, 2008 was the 8th annual running of the Hair of the Dog drive. This is a popular event put on by the Houston BMW-CCA club. This year we had another tremendous turnout with nearly 60 cars. This all started out as the first drive of the milenium originally organized by Fred Reinemeyer and Doug Morgan on New Year's Day, 2001. For the past several years, Warren Campbell, had taken on the incredible chore of keeping this thing working. He does a tremendous job and the club owes him a debt of gratitude for bringing us all together each year.

Five or so years ago I bought an old BMW 2002. I have spent the past few years bringing this old car back to life. It is way past any kind of a 'budget' but I won't give until she is a reliable, fun car to drive. It turns out I'm having a lot of fun in the process!
