• Dec. 11, 2007 - Final Delivery and the trip home to Texas!
After a year-long restoration, Happy Face was picked up at Coupe King on December 8th. We were greeted by our hosts, Peter and Erik Sliskovich, owners of Coupe King. My son, Andrew and I flew out to pick her up and then take a leisurely 3-day drive home to Houston. Here are some pictures of the trip.

Five or so years ago I bought an old BMW 2002. I have spent the past few years bringing this old car back to life. It is way past any kind of a 'budget' but I won't give until she is a reliable, fun car to drive. It turns out I'm having a lot of fun in the process!
