Dec. 6, 2005 - iPod iTower Speaker System

Posted by Alan

This is one of the coolest iPod 'accessories' that we've seen yet.  The iTower Speaker System from Sharper Image features four vertically-aligned aluminum cone midrange speakers, a one-inch true dome tweeter, and a powerful subwoofer built into its base.  It is three and a half feet tall and fits easily into modern decor.  Although it can play music from any device with a headphone jack, it is made specifically to work with an iPod docked into the cradle at the top of the tower.  It includes a wireless remote to control basic functions.  This product has just been released and is sure to be hot for Christmas.

Oct. 23, 2005 - Krups Panini Maker

Grilled cheeses are one of the quintessential foods for guys, but girls often turn up their noses at them.  You can turn the tides in your favor, however, by making a panini rather than a grilled cheese!  Sure to impress even the most finicky filly, this panini maker and grill by Krups not only works well but looks great with its chrome and black finish.  Normally $125, we found it on sale for $79.99.  Remember this line: "but dear, it's not a grilled cheese, it's a Panini!"
